These are the medical resources we need your help to buy for the hospital

The essential equipment that The ‘Helping Hands for Glendon’ are trying to raise money for are shown below. We also need funds to train and develop staff so that they can offer the highest level of professional care to patients. The ‘Helping Hands for Glendon’ is a registered charity organisation that was founded with the intention to desperately raise funds as a humanitarian gesture to help improve the hospital facilities with essential equipment and training.

What we need for the hospital

Hospital beds

For patient care.

CT Scan

CT scans can detect bone and joint problems, like complex bone fractures and tumors. If you have a condition like cancer, heart disease, emphysema, or liver masses, CT scans can spot it or help doctors see any changes. They show internal injuries and bleeding, such as those caused by a car accident.

Vital signs monitor Blood pressure machine

Adaptable for most low-acuity healthcare environments and clinical workflows, it can measure pulse oximetry, non-invasive blood pressure, temperature, EtCo2, respiration and more.

Trauma life support machine

A patient requires life support when one or more vital organs fail, due to causes such as trauma, infection, cancer, heart attack, or chronic disease.

Mammogram machine

Mammography is an x-ray imaging method used to examine the breast for the early detection of cancer and other breast diseases. It is used as both a diagnostic and screening tool.

Paediatric advanced life support machine

PALS training includes the following components: BLS (infant and child); use of adjunctive equipment and special techniques to establish and maintain effective oxygenation, ventilation, and perfusion; clinical and ECG monitoring and arrhythmia detection; establishment and maintenance of vascular access.
